Mayor's Desk

Welcome to Marble Falls!

Marble Falls is quintessential Texas Hill Country.  Amidst the scenic landscapes and beautiful Lake Marble Falls, lies a town full of energy with plenty to do and see for all who come to live, work, shop and play in Marble Falls...and it's getting even better!

From eateries to breweries and retail to multi-family residential, a host of new businesses are coming to call Marble Falls home.  Sales tax receipts continue to rise each month and the economy in Marble Falls grew by over 9% in 2017.  We strive to work hand in hand with the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Corporation in support of our local businesses to create a thriving economic environment.  As a commercial hub serving communities throughout Central Texas, Marble Falls is truly a great place to do business.

On the public side, the multi-year focus on Capital Improvement continues.  A state-of-the-art Public Safety Facility opened its doors in November 2017 to better serve the community, the improved street program is well underway, and the updated Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan was adopted by City Council.  This plan puts in motion the first in a three-phase plan of major park renovations designed to improve accessibility in and around the four downtown area parks, adds beach access along the lake and enhances recreational opportunity for residents and visitors alike.  The newly designed park areas will improve connectivity with the Downtown District and provide an opportunity for people to come together and inspire a sense of community.

Marble Falls is blessed with dynamic quality of life amenities and a vibrant community that boasts all the warmth, character, and charm of a great small town.  I invite you to join us to see why so many love to Call Marble Falls home.  Whether you're here for a weekend or a lifetime, we're glad you are here and look forward to serving you.

Thank you for visiting our website.

We hope to see you soon in Marble Falls.

John Packer, Mayor
City of Marble Falls
